The tour is over. It's weird not getting a wake up call this morning.
Justin, Chris, two Vanessa, Kelly, Brittany, and I decided to revisit the Vatican Museum to see the Sistine Chapel. No more Vanessa, our tour manager, to guide us. Justin became our tour guide and did a great job. We didn't get lost or lost anyone in our group. The Sistine Chapel is great, although, the line to get there is a bit long. Next on our itinerary is shopping. I bought a few shirts at Benetton and some chocolates and olive oils for my friends and co-workers. We revisited a few spots in Rome such as Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, and the Trevi Foundain, and had our last dinner in the city. My day ended playing cards with Justin, Chris, Vanessa, Kelly, up to 2:30am. Knoc, Heather, and I were picked up by our taxi at 4:30am and took us to the airport. To all my fellow travellers and friends, I'll miss you all. I hope our paths cross again someday. Arrivederci, Simply Italy! |
