This morning, we got awaken by someone banging on our hotel door. Since the hotel room doesn't have a phone or an alarm clock,
that's how the wake up call is conducted. Pretty funny!
Today, we rode a ferry to the Isle of Capri. And from there we
cruised around the island. The mountain views are unbelievable.
This is definitely one of the most beautiful places I've seen. For a quick stop at the island, some of our friends, decided to
take a
swim. It sure looks fun, if the water isn't ice cold!
The highlight of the tour
is the canoe ride inside the famous
Blue Grotto. Since the opening to the
cave is pretty small, to get in, everyone in the canoe needs
to lie down. It doesn't seem that bad, except that there were seven of us in our canoe. Up to now, I have no idea how we all fit or, even, stayed afloat. Inside the Blue Grotto, the water underneath seem to glow with neon blue color. What a sight!
For me, our dinner at Sorrento is the best one we've had. The cliff view overlooking Mt. Vesuvius from the outside patio of this 5 star restaurant-hotel is
definitely a
great photo location. The food is great as well. On the
dance floor, we've revised the famous song "YMCA" to say "E-N-Z-O" (in dedication to our hard-working driver).
Then, by my friend's request, I
serenaded my fellow contiki travellers and friends with a song "I do cherish you." (A note to myself, bring Karaoke machine on my next Contiki trip!)
