Drive to Pompeii for a guided tour of the city.

Drive to Sorrento.

Today we started early and headed to Pompeii. It's amazing to see the devastation Mt. Vesuvius did to this city. As we went through some of the houses, you can just imagine what they would have looked like before the city was destroyed. There are also mummified remains of the citizens of Pompeii.
Then we're off to Sorrento. What a drastic contrast between these two cities. From total devastation to one of the most scenic place I've seen. The cliff view at Sorrently, overlooking Mt. Vesuvius, is breath-taking.
