This is a pretty relaxing day. At least that's what I thought until we arrived
at Assisi. For those people who weren't attending the mass, we decided to get some
capuccino. We followed Vannesa to the cafe thinking it won't be that far. Oh boy,
I walked like I'm making up for a week of workout on the gym. Not only is it uphill,
it also rained. By the way, the cafe is closed afterall.
The most awaited night had finally arrived. The EuroVision competition 2001 consists of
USA Team (who did a skit),
Australian Team (singing a song of their own composition),
Canadian Team (who told some jokes),
United Nations team, which I belong to. Since
our group consists of people from around the world--South Africa, Singapore, Taiwan,
Mexico, New Zealand, and USA, we sang tidbits of each of our National Anthem. The night
ended with US winning by a point over Australians and United Nations which were tied for second place. Also,
I had an encore performance singing "Back at One" by Brian McKnight to the rest of the
group.
