Drive to town of Perugia in Umbria (best known for their chocolate festivals).

Drive to the town of San Gimignano for some sightseeing.

Wine tasting at a Chianty Winery in Tuscany.

Head to Florence and eat dinner at Ponte Vecchio.

Our first day of tour. At the bus Vanessa, our tour manager, introduced us to two songs which we'll be listening to for the next two weeks. The first one will be played every morning and the chorus goes like this, "You and me were meant to be walking free in harmony. One fine day, we'll fly away. Don't you know that Rome wasn't built in a day. Hey, hey, hey." The other one which is in italian and we simply referred to it as the "Vespa song", will be played everytime we reach our rest stops.
At San Gimignano, I tasted my first Gelati (ice cream) and it's unbelievable. Also, at Chianty winery in Tuscany, I took a sip of Chianty wine, and being a non-drinker that I am, I didn't like it that much. That's ok, Manon, a fellow non-drinker traveller can relate with me as well.
